flame-colored tanagers are known for their fiery temperament. we've heard sailors spin yarns about these hot-headed but beautiful birds. one such tale told of one tanager who was given the wrong seed and threw a fit and pecked holes in the china cabinet for three days. luckily, our flame-colored tanager is very patient and polite. the only thing hot is his cupcake friend, fresh from the oven.
